Perhaps, after reading the book,
Freedom Through Forgiveness, you feel that you need
personal ministry time with Pastor Nathan. We make one week
intensives available upon request. You can arrive on Sunday night
and we begin Monday morning with Nathan and his assistant(s). We
spend the first day listening to the details of your personal
history. We want to hear your "story". Each team member will give
you a brief testimony of how God has brought healing into their life
before you share your story, so that you can feel you are among
fellow strugglers who will understand your pain, but also give you a
faith boost as you hear how they are walking in wholeness and
freedom. |
 |
Each day we will be asking the Holy Spirit to identify places in the
past where pain is still alive and holding you back. Places where
the enemy has a right to oppress you, places where there are lies
and deception. You will then be given assignments to pray over and
time alone to walk down our country road that winds through the
canyon or sit in the porch swing in your private rose garden outside
the Hospitality House. Mornings are a great time to spend with the
Lord, so we have a large deck you can have your coffee and breakfast
alone with Him. (Arrangements will be made before you get here to
have all the necessary groceries for your breakfast on hand.)
We all share lunch together that Wanda has prepared and you will
experiences her gift of hospitality and the peace of God that rests
on our little "farm". Wanda will no doubt want to show you her
chickens and let you help her gather the eggs each afternoon or pick
some fruit from our trees, grape vines or beans from our garden. Our
home is shadowed by 10 large oak trees and in the evenings after
dinner we sit outside around a campfire when the weather is right.

When marriages have been
stuck and can't seem get down to the root of the problem, we
have found a one week intensive does wonders. Here is what
happens in a couples' intensive. The couple arrives on Sunday
afternoon or evening. They stay in the Hospitality House where
they have their own bedroom, living room, full kitchen,
bathroom, deck and private yard. They have their own breakfast
each morning with us providing the food, whether our farm fresh
eggs or fruit and cereal. Our men's team will arrive to help
Pastor Nathan in praying as we begin with the husband from 8-12
a.m. We all enjoy lunch together and then at 1:00 p.m. our
ladies team arrives and we work with the wife in the afternoon.
While we are ministering to the husband the wife has the morning
to pray and walk, spending time with the Lord in the private
courtyard and rose garden. |
|
During the first 4 days both husband and wife separately work
through past hurts with parents, siblings, ex boyfriends or
girlfriends, church hurts, sexual sins, abortions etc. and forgiving
their spouse.
|
Then on Friday, having
already forgiven each other from the heart with the team, we
help them bring up a few painful things done or said between
each other, and with the anger gone, share the pain, hear their
spouse say "I am sorry, will you forgive me?" The spouse says "I
do forgive you" and they embrace. They do this back and forth
covering splinters we have uncovered during the week.
Many couples have said "For the first time ever, we are heart
to heart." Many have said "I came into marriage with a
wall around my heart from my mom or dad or ex husband or ex wife
and today, I took it down for the first time. Today we were
truly intimate for the first time". |

What if it doesn't take 5 days? I tell all the couples, if they get
their "homework" done early, they can enjoy a day at Sea World or
the San Diego Zoo or enjoy the beach. Often they go and enjoy a
second brief honeymoon and our Hospitality House becomes a Honey
Moon suite.
If you are interested in booking a one week intensive we will pick
you up from the airport and take you back, provide the lodging, food
and utilities. The Hospitality House has central air and heat that
work very well and are quiet. The counseling sessions are held in
the Hospitality House living room where it is private and quiet.
Our home is next door and we live in a rural, country environment of
quaint homes built in a Canyon that is filled with oak and sycamore
trees and a stream that flows beside a nice county park directly
across the road from our house.
To book a week of ministry, please contact us and we will arrange
your personal ministry time. A deposit is required to reserve your
special week. (pictures are located under
